Betty over at Simply Betty Stamps http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/10-new-digis.html has opened up some spots for her commission H and given people a chance to win themselves as a digi. How cool is that............... The catch you have to use one of the images from her commission G set in a project..
I have chosen "Melanie Book Nook" as my digi of choice
I have coloured her with copics and imagined she was sitting there on a sunny winters morning because hey that is exactly what I would love to do on a sunny winters morning.
I have then made her into a small gift bag (just the right size for a small book) with some paper and a pretty border.....
Really enjoyed something a little different this time and cant wait to see what the commission H images look like, no doubt brilliant like everything else Betty does, but in the meantime why don't you pop over to the SBS blog or store and check out commission G for yourself.....

Goblin Queen
The girls over at the As You Like It Challenge page http://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/favourite-lines-or-no-lines-technique.html
have asked the question "FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE LINES OR NO LINES (& WHY)" and I would have to say lines. No lines scares me a little I must say but it is on my list of things to try. I also find that with some images lines just adds more impact to the image, like with this image "Goblin Queen" by Simply Betty Stamps....
I really don't think she would have the same impact with the no lines technique.
I have made her into a tag and I am really happy with how she has turned out.
For now I think I will be staying with the lines but who knows what the future will hold, maybe I will get the courage to give no lines a go.
Thanks for the visit......

Going Green Coloured Image
Over at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog http://lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/go-green-challenge-54.html
you can also enter just a coloured image, though entries are limited to one per person, and I thought that would be perfect for this image.......
I am not sure what I am going to make with her yet but I enjoyed the colouring anyway so that is all that mattered, when I do make her up I will have to come back and update everyone with the finished product..
In the meantime why not colour up your own image to enter....
Thanks for stopping by...................

Challenge Time
So I was roaming around the other day and came across a challenge at Come and Get it Challenge http://cagichallenge.blogspot.ca/ that would suit the image I had just finished colouring and thought why not give it a go.....
I am really happy with how this guys wings came out, this is one area where I have a lot of trouble. I have then made him into a simply card because I don't think he really needs too much embellishing....
but that being said I am still tossing up whether to add a few simply pink flowers in the bottom right corner hmmmm decisions decisions. Well for now I think I will leave it be I guess I can always come back and change it if I want later.
I am also entering this little guy into the challenge at Give a crafter a Cookie http://giveacrafteracookie.blogspot.com.au/ I have decided to use the colours from the cookies and bowl for inspiration rather than the pictures on the cookies - blue green yellow pink and purple.
Thanks for popping by and have a great day.............

Going Green
The challenge over at Lacy Sunshine http://lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.com.au/ this time is "GO GREEN" and while I used the colour green in my creation I decided to take the theme a little further by doing a green environmental theme as well.
Because of this I thought the image "Rorys what a beautiful world" would be perfect and I have used the globe as inspiration for the colours used......
I have then made Rory into a paper shopping bag/gift bag with a bright spring feel......
Why not pop over to the challenge and have a go yourself I had a blast with this one..............
Also entered into card mania challenge - spring http://cardmaniachallenges.blogspot.com.au/

Simply Betty Lets Fly 3
Ok here she is the final one for today for the Simply Betty Fan Page Challenge http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com.au/2015/02/lets-fly.html.
This time I have used the image "Betty Thorn Fairy" and gone with a more dramatic colour scheme............
I think the red dress has come up particularly well and her dark hair really tops it off.
I have kept thing simple with a black border and red rose to keep with the dramatic nature of the image...........

Simply Betty Take 2
Back with entry number 2 for the fan page challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com.au/2015/02/lets-fly.html ....
This time I chose to work with "Sunflower Madame Frou Frou Fairy" and gone with a more cheerful tone because who can't help but smile at a sunflower.....
I am really liking how the sunflowers have come up here and the hair, somedays I struggle with hair but quite liking this one.....
I mounted this little fairy onto some white card and mounted her to the inside of the card and then cut an aperture from the front of the card to view her through.....

I then finished her off with some sunflowers that I had been saving for just the right time and I think this is it, they make beautifully with the image and just make you want to "SMILE"............
One more to load today so make sure you stay and see it too...........
Simply Betty Fan Page Challenge
So I am totally loving the fairies that go with this months fan page challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com.au/ and the second they were released I couldn't help myself I had to have them....
First up we have "Mushroom Fairy Rio".........
I am really pleased with how her wings have turned out in the image and boy did those mushrooms take some colouring......
I have then mounted her on a circle of white card and then onto a rosette I made and then just finished her with a few simply blooms as I think much else would have taken away from the image and I didn't want that.
Anyway I must say she was an absolute thrill to colour and I am very happy with this first entry into the challenge, why don't you stop by and check out the other entries as well.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge
This month over at Lacy Sunshine the theme is "Passion for Fashion" and the free image was Alissandra Carnivale Enchantress which I had in my pile of images to do...this pile seems to get bigger quicker than I can colour funny enough
This enchantress just seemed to call for bright and cheery colours and I have gone with a pink, purple and teal mix with just a touch of black/grey.......
I have made another pocket card for this image but this time I have placed a quote on the tag rather than the image.....
I have used the quote "If you must do something ridiculous, outrageous or stupid, at least do it enthusiastically!.......
Make sure you pop over and see the other entries or why not enter yourself.....

Art by Mirim Progressive Challenge 2
The folks over at Art by Mirim's facebook page have their second progressive challenge going and because I participated in the first challenge I received this lovely image to work with for free... so if you haven't already joined up do so....
This month I decided to give this lovely girl dip dyed hair, my first attempt at this and I think it turned out not too bad, it was definitely something different and fun anyway.
I have made this into a pocket style card with doesn't open as such you just pull out the tab that has the image on instead.
I am really loving how this has come out in the end and their is still plenty of room on the back of the tab to write a message to the recipient.
Hoping you all pop over and check out the other entries and maybe have a go yourself......
