Boil and Toil

Betty from SBS asked us to colour her new images with our favourite colour blends and today I am sharing my Lime Green contribution

I have used the new Boil and Toil Digi

I have used it to start off my colour journal which I have been putting off doing for over 3 years (better late than never right) and I have used 3 of my favourite lime green colour blends

Cauldron - G28 YG17 YG06 YG03
Potion - G05 YG11 YG00
Hate Band - G05 YG21

Of all these I am really in love with the potion blend and how airy and bubbly looking I got it..

Crafty Time!!

Recently Sophie my almost 7 year old daughter had a pupil free day at school while her little sister still had kindy so that gave us the perfect opportunity to have a few hours of quality mum and daughter time crafting and creating...

We started by Sophie scrolling though my pinterest inspiration board looking for a card she wanted to make and then the fun began....

I must admit that it was amazing to be able to spend so time one on one with Sophie and getting to do something I love at the same time. Not to mention the amazing card we came up with.

Now off to make another card so I can enter the other sections....thats a good excuse to craft on a rainy day i think lol.

Steampunk Storage

Howdy everyone!!
Today I am sharing my first DT post for the team Glimps....

I have made a little holder for one of my sentiment album using an empty box from some envelopes....I particularly like to upcycle things and give them a new life as something pretty and practical...

This is what I started with...

Then with a few patterned papers and a bit of fiddling.... waalaa...

Then came the fun bit adding an image and I couldnt go past this Glimp cutie.....steampunk fairy

 

and her mate for on the album

And so now onto the finished piece...... I present my steampunky album and holder......
