Hello Autumn

Sometimes it can seem really funny being on Design Teams for companies that are to me international. Like today when I am sharing an Autumn card when I am part way though Spring here in Australia but who could resist this absolutely cute little Autumn girl from Glimps Stamps. When this was recently released I just knew I had to colour her up in all the gorgeous red and brown tones that I see from the Autumn leaves and from there the card just seemed to flow.

So if you think she is as gorgeous I did and just have to have her or any of the new Autumn images then make sure to pop over to the Glimps store and grab them...

Some Odd Girl Round Up

Today I had the pleasure of working with this amazing little penguin from Glimps Stamps.....

Star Fisher

And I have used it to make an inspirational frame for my penguin lover daughter to hang beside her bed in the hopes that each morning it will encourage her to try her best, aim high and always believe in herself.

I have tried to add as many inspiring quotes and words as possible with the main quote

Keep your eyes on the stars

and your feet on the ground

and then

Live for Today

in the aqua banner on the bottom

and gold foil words

dream

inspire

and shine

added for some extra bling because what 8yr girl doesn't love a bit of bling

I have then finished it off with a shooting star paper and some black glitter washi on the front of the frame to look like the stars I  want her t aim for in life.

Advent Calendar Part II

Morning all...

A while back I shared the first part of my advent calendar and today I am sharing the next set of 6 bags all ready for the girls to fill full of xrafty goodness. 

I have used 6 amazing images from glimps stamps today and coloured and placed each onto a paper bag which will then get pegged to a string.

Catch Up

Due to my computer missing some keys (the letters not working properly) and having to copy and paste everything so that it makes sense I have not been blogging all my creations. So I thought I should do a catch up post......

Lest we forget

Today in Australia it is ANZAC Day which is our day to remember our fallen soldiers and war veterans. With this in mind I have created a rememberance lantern using this amazing image Veronica from Glimps drew especially for me for this project.

I then made the lantern out of card and added the image along with the poppies we have collected at our previous ANZAC services and some silhouette soldiers borrowed from the kids craft activities at school but look aþ home standing to attention on the lantern uprights like the catapult party at our services.

Lastly to finish of the lantern I wrote the ode that is read at every ANZAC service around the top of the lantern. ...

They shall not grow old, 

as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, 

nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun

and in the morning

We will remember them.

LEST WE FORGET

Hello Glimps style

Hello hello and hello.....
Popping in today to share a couple cards made using some of the amazing images from the Glimps store.

First up this amazing Hello image.
How cute does she look peeking around the corner??

And also this little cutie with her heart and snuggly scarf and hat.

Add in a few gorgeous flowers and some pretty pattern paper and they have come up a treat...

Emo's are back!!!

Simply B Stamps is rereleasing all the Emo's from 2010 and 2011 into the store and I had the fun of getting crafty with the Christmas set.

Keep and eye out HERE as they are getting reloaded bit by bit.

I have used the 6 images in this set to make a gift bag banner to hang on our display cabinet for Christmas this year. (eventually I hope to have 24 done so the kids can fill them with little crafty bits as they have been wanting to do an advent calendar for mummy).

January 26 here in Australia is our national holiday with Australia Day and so

today I am sharing a 3D shadow box card I have made with an Aussie tone using 3 amazing beachy Glimps images (the beach is a huge part of Aussie culture and we love spending time by the ocean)

And here we have the 3D shadow box card I have made using by adding some of cute summer extras from the Polkadoodles Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection.
